Kayla Bagshaw

Kayla Bagshaw, originally from Centerville, Utah began her training at The Turning Place and Dance Impressions. She has trained extensively in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary and hip-hop. She has danced with some of the industry’s best including Travis Wall, Mandy Moore, Dee Caspary, Stacey Tookey, Mia Michaels, Jaci Royal, Jen Pendleton, Chantel Aguirre, and Suzi Taylor to name a few. She also trained at Broadway Dance Center in New York City and the Edge Performing Art studio in L.A for several years. She has received numerous performing awards including West Coast Dance Explosion Elite Dancer, Triple Threat Award from New York City Dance Alliance, Celebrity and Spotlight Dance Down Winner and numerous 1st place solo awards. She was crowned Miss Drill International 2011 and Miss Drill Utah 2012. She was a finalist in the State Dance Sterling Scholar program, a member of NDA’s All American Dance Team for four consecutive years and a finalist for KSL television’s R U Talented. Her choreography for both soloists and teams has received several awards from various competitions including “Best Choreography” from The Countdown, Utah Dance Fest, Idaho Invitational, Hollywood Vibe and Nuvo. Her choreography has also received many first place trophies and Judges Choice Awards at a number of competitions all throughout the U.S. She was a member of the 16-time National BYU Cougarettes for four consecutive years where she served as Head Dance Captain. She was also recently featured as a back up dancer for the famous dance and singing group BLESS4. Kayla is a member of Divinity, a professional dance company based in Salt Lake City. She is also the proud co-owner of a new studio called Project Move in Centerville, Utah. Project Move offers dance, tumbling and fitness classes. Kayla is an assistant coach for the Viewmont Vykelles Drill Team. She is a sixth year instructor for PDC and is excited to continue sharing her passion and love for dance by traveling all over the world to teach and choreograph
